National Service Project

The National Service Project is an annual opportunity for EAST Programs nationwide to pool their talents toward a common goal.

Announced at the 2011 Conference, this year's EAST National Service Focus is ENERGY — conserving it, using it efficiently and finding new, sustainable ways to create it. We’re challenging EAST students across the country to learn more about their own energy consumption at school, at home and in their communities and to reduce it; and to put their EAST skills and innovative thinking to work to find and use renewable and sustainable energy sources wherever possible. Energy efficiency and renewable energy save money and help to save the environment at the same time.

Since the announcement, thousands of students have joined the effort.  We will celebrate the results of these projects at the 2012 Conference.
